About Me

CBT Therapist Specialising in Anxiety, Depression & Self-esteem

I am a CBT Therapist specialising in Anxiety, Depression & Self-Esteem, with over eight years of experience working in mental health and several years within the NHS. I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome the challenges these issues create in their daily lives.

Anxiety can have a profound and far-reaching impact on how we think, feel, and navigate the world. It often manifests as a persistent sense of worry, fear, or low mood, which can interfere with decision-making, relationships, and day-to-day functioning. Left unaddressed, anxiety can lead to avoidance behaviours, procrastination, and difficulty managing stress, creating a cycle that feels increasingly difficult to escape.

This cycle can also take a toll on self-esteem.

 

When anxiety & depression make it hard to meet personal goals or maintain a sense of control over life’s demands, self-confidence can waver. Over time, this erodes self-worth, further fueling the anxiety and contributing to a sense of being stuck. Stress, overwhelm, and burnout often accompany this pattern, leaving individuals feeling drained and unable to cope effectively.

I work with clients to break free from these patterns using evidence-based CBT techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based tools. These approaches not only help address the immediate challenges of anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout but also equip you with practical strategies to regain balance, focus, and a sense of control in your life.
